Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

Portions of east Tennessee, including the following county, Claiborne and southwest Virginia, including the following county, Lee.

* WHEN...
Until 345 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 142 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen in the past hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area during the next hour. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Harrogate, Arthur, Cumberland Gap, Powell River Preserve and Ewing.
