At 1250 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Richfield, Albemarle, and Oakboro. These storms were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could damage trees and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Badin Lake, Plyler, Badin, Richfield, New London, Pinehaven Marina, Eldorado, Fish Tales Marina, and Morrow Mountain State Park.
