At 557 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from North Carolina Zoo to near Pittsboro. Movement was south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sanford, Asheboro, Randleman, Pittsboro, Siler City, North Carolina Zoo, Goldston, Liberty, Ramseur, and Franklinville.
