Canceled 7/31/25 5:22 PM Flash Flood Warning issued July 31 at 3:04PM EDT until July 31 at 5:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA At 304 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain over Winfield, or near Fairmont, moving northeast at 5 mph. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. While the heaviest rain has exited the area, additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported flooding along multiple roadways in and around Fairmont. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Fairmont, Pleasant Valley, Winfield, Barrackville, Monongah, Colfax, Bentons Ferry and White Hall. ![]() |
