At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Thomasville, or 10 miles southwest of High Point, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
High Point, Asheboro, Lexington, North Carolina Zoo, Thomasville, Archdale, Trinity, Denton, Gordontown, and Ulah.
