At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northwest of Rockingham, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Rockingham, Hoffman, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, Foxfire, Norman, Derby, Sandhills Game Land, Camp Mackall, and Eagle Springs.
