Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
Portions of Virginia, including the following counties, Alleghany VA, Bath, Craig and Giles and southeast West Virginia, including the following counties, Greenbrier and Monroe.

* WHEN...
Until 745 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 437 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Cove Branch, Bee Branch, Barbours Creek, Back Creek, Cedar Creek, Cove Run, Boulder Run, Corner Branch, Big Run, Cove Creek, Brushy Lick, Coles Run, Anthony Creek and Broad Run.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
