Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following county, Tazewell.

* WHEN...
Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 402 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the area. However, minor flooding issues will persist in the advisory area given between 1 to locally 2 inches of rain that fell earlier this afternoon.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Little River, Bluestone River, Clinch River, Burkes Garden Creek, Laurel Creek and Dry Fork.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
