At 957 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Stonewood to 6 miles west of Rock Cave. Movement was east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Elkins, Buckhannon, Philippi, Audra State Park, Belington, Junior, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Volga, Lorentz, Century, Ellamore, Tallmansville, Overhill, Hodgesville, and French Creek.
This includes Route 33 between mile markers 4 and 35.
