At 227 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Rutherfordton to 10 miles southeast of Forest City to 7 miles west of Spartanburg. Movement was east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lawndale, Gaffney, Cooksville, Crouse, Cowpens, Kingstown, Thicketty, USC Upstate, Crowders Mountain State Park, and Mooresboro.
