A portion of northwest North Carolina, including the following counties, Ashe and Watauga.

* WHEN...
Until 1000 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 648 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and locally 3 inches of rain have fallen.

Meat Camp Creek, Grassy Creek, Elk Creek, Norris Fork, Call Creek and South Fork New River.
