Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...
Portions of central and northwest Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, Greene. In northwest Virginia, Madison, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge and Rappahannock.

* WHEN...
Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is an increased potential for flooding given saturated soils from last week's major flooding event. The heaviest rains will likely fall this evening. Total amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible, with locally up to 3 inches if the worst case scenario unfolds.
