Canceled 10/30/25 8:00 AM Flood Advisory issued October 30 at 5:28AM EDT until October 30 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC * WHAT... Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE... A portion of southeastern Avery and far western Caldwell Counties. * WHEN... Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 528 AM EDT, Gauge reports indicated Wilson Creek had risen out of its banks at Adako Rd near Brown Mountain Beach. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area, which includes Brown Mountain Beach Rd along Wilson Creek. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen since Tuesday. Common, nuisance flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to Wilson Creek is expected. Floodwaters are beginning to impact farmland, woodlands, parks, greenways, and boat-access areas with up to 2 feet of inundation. Low-water crossings may be inundated with up to 2 feet of floodwater and become impassable. Campgrounds and secondary roads may experience floodwater inundation of up to 1 foot. - Flooding impacts will continue this morning, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
