Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE... A portion of northwest Virginia, including the following area, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge. * WHEN... From late tonight through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS... Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Increased potential for flooding given saturated soils from last week's major flooding event. The heaviest rains likely fall during Wednesday afternoon to early evening.
