Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

A portion of northwest Virginia, including the following area, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge.

* WHEN...
From late tonight through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Increased potential for flooding given saturated soils from last week's major flooding event. The heaviest rains likely fall during Wednesday afternoon to early evening. Total amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible, locally up to 3 inches if the worst case scenario unfolds.
