A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following county, Craig. * WHEN... Until 900 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 601 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Johns Creek, Mill Creek, Turnpike Creek, Sinking Creek, Craig Creek and Trout Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area.
