Flash Flood Warning issued July 30 at 9:41PM EDT until July 31 at 2:15AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 941 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain has exited the warned area, leaving only light to occasionally moderate rainfall. However, between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain fell earlier this evening, much of it within about an hour. Flash flooding of creeks and streams is ongoing across the warned area, and may be impacting nearby roads.
