At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Callaway, or near Copper Hill. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. Other strong storms were located near Wirtz and Rocky Mount.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Boones Mill...
Callaway...
Burnt Chimney...
and Wirtz.
