Flash Flood Warning issued September 12 at 6:14PM EDT until September 12 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Charleston WV
At 614 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated earlier thunderstorms that produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, with additional light rain showers possible.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Glenville, Grantsville, West Union, Cedar Creek State Park, Arnoldsburg, Pullman, Auburn, Tanner, Burnt House, Newberne, Big Springs, Coxs Mills, Normantown, Berea, Stumptown, Troy, Mount Zion, Shock, Millstone, and Grove.
This includes Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 48 and 60.
